Urgent Needs fund helps with unexpected expenses
The United Way Leeds and Grenville is reminding residents that their Urgent Needs Fund is available to help with unexpected expenses. Executive Director Hailie Jack explained that the fund can be used for a variety of needs, such as an unexpected car repair or ensuring home safety.
Jack noted that one of the challenges they face is people not reaching out for help when they first encounter a problem. She emphasized that the funding is open to everyone in the community.
