A Legacy of giving
The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce has named Mary Mansworth the recipient of the 2025 Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award, celebrating her 50 years of service to the community.
Since moving to Brockville in 1976, Mansworth has been deeply involved with the YMCA of Eastern Ontario, serving locally and nationally. She has held leadership roles with the Brockville Municipal Non-Profit Housing Corporation, Brockville Community Foundation, and Brockville Yacht Club. Her humanitarian work includes contributions to the Brockville Refugee Committee and the Wall Street Village Affordable Seniors' Housing Project.
A passionate advocate for mental health, Mansworth is a board member of the Child and Youth Mental Wellness Centre of Leeds and Grenville and co-chairs the Empty Bowls Fundraiser for Loaves and Fishes. She also co-founded the Brockville 100 Women Who Care initiative.
