Corteau says she loves Brockville and its strong sense of community
Local resident Solange Corteau is entering the race for a seat on Brockville City Council.
Corteau says her decision to run was influenced by some of the struggles she has seen people face in Brockville.
Corteau also listed a few of her top priorities that she says are linked to quality of life.
Corteau talked about changes or initiatives she’d like to see implemented in Brockville over the next council term.
She says tourism is important to Brockville, but the city also needs programs that support the people who live there.
Corteau says she loves Brockville and its strong sense of community.
The Brockville municipal election is set for Monday, October 26.
