STUFF TO DO
Today: The last edition of Shoot 2 Win happens at the Brockville Memorial Centre as the Brockville Braves host the Smiths Falls Bears. Two players will shoot from center ice, one practice shot, then a final shot, for a chance to win $100.
Tomorrow: Firefighters with the Athens Fire Department are hosting a food drive to support the Athens FoodBank/Crisis Fund Association, collecting non-perishable donations on March 14 at the Athens fire hall and March 15 outside the Athens Village Store. The initiative aims to help restock supplies for the local food bank, which assists residents in need in Athens and nearby communities.
Tomorrow: The Athens and Area Heritage Society is hosting a free presentation titled Sheatown and St. Paddy’s Day by local author Paul Cote from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Joshua Bates Centre. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and admission is free.
