The BMHA is calling for nominations for its annual Wally White Volunteer Award, recognizing one outstanding volunteer who went above and beyond during the hockey season.
Each year, dozens of coaches, trainers, managers, board members and behind-the-scenes helpers give their time to keep the association running. The award highlights one person whose dedication, heart and effort stood out among their peers.
The honour is named in memory of Wally White, whose many years of service left a lasting mark on the local hockey community. The award celebrates a volunteer who reflects that same spirit of commitment.
Nominations are now being accepted. Submissions must include a brief description explaining why the nominee should be chosen.
The deadline to apply is March 20, 2026. Nominations can be sent by email to Sarah Martin at martinsa1004@yahoo.ca.
