Brockville council honours local radio milestone and beloved broadcaster with special proclamations

On April 7, the public is invited to attend Bruce's retirement celebration at the Brockville Legion from 5-8 p.m.

On Tuesday night, Mayor Wren and Brockville City Council made two special proclamations to honour 104.9 MyFM and Bruce Wylie.

Councillor Jane Fullarton proclaimed the station's 100th anniversary as 104.9 MyFM Radio Day.

And Councillor Mike Kalivas declared April 7 as Bruce Wylie Day, recognizing 55 years of service to this community.

On April 7, the public is invited to attend Bruce's retirement celebration at the Brockville Legion from 5-8 p.m.
