There's been a rise in impaired by drugs
The kids are back to school which means that summer is in the rear view mirror, and Brockville Police Chief Mark Noonan says crime was down in the city during the summer months.
However, he also says that the officers are seeing more impaired drivers.
It's an ongoing problem that the police service continues to deal with, he adds.
A reminder that the penalties for impaired driving are severe.
