Girls Inc. of Upper Canada is making sure girls in Brockville feel nourished, supported, and confident thanks to its Groceries for Girls program.
This month, The Village Store has sponsored dozens of baskets filled with essentials like fresh produce, meat, dairy, shelf-stable foods, and hygiene products.
Girls Inc. says every basket offers more than food - as each is packed with care and dignity.
Each delivery brings peace of mind, relief for families, and a strong message that the community is behind them.
The Groceries for Girls program is designed to reduce food insecurity for girls in their programs, helping them focus on learning and personal growth instead of worrying about what’s in the fridge.
Girls Inc. is inviting others to get involved. Community members or businesses can help by sponsoring a future month or donating supplies.
