Drivers are still being urged to use caution and adjust to changing road conditions as cleanup and monitoring continue

Traffic is moving again on Highway 401 eastbound near Brockville after two separate collisions forced a temporary disruption.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at County Road 2, where a tractor trailer had jack-knifed across lanes. Officials say the driver was not injured, despite the severity of the incident. Crews worked to safely remove the truck and clear debris from the roadway.

A second collision involving two passenger vehicles occurred in the same area. Authorities report that only minor injuries were sustained in that crash, and those involved were treated at the scene.

The incidents happened as challenging road conditions continued in the region, contributing to reduced visibility and slippery surfaces.

The highway has since reopened, and traffic flow has returned to normal. Drivers are still being urged to use caution and adjust to changing road conditions as cleanup and monitoring continue.
