Local MPP Steve Clark is once again calling on residents across Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes to help shine a spotlight on the region’s brightest and most festive holiday homes.
The local MPP is inviting people to nominate neighbours for his annual Spirit of Christmas Award, which celebrates standout Christmas displays that bring joy to their communities.
Residents can take part by emailing a photo of a decorated home, along with the homeowner’s mailing address, to steve.clark@pc.ola.org.
The awards aim to highlight the effort many families put into decorating, from simple strings of lights to large displays that draw visitors each year.
The call for nominations encourages people to recognize homes that “go the extra mile” to spread holiday cheer.
The initiative has become a seasonal tradition in the area, promoting community pride and giving residents a chance to celebrate the creativity and spirit found across the region.
