Tedford was a familiar and welcoming presence, especially among her friends at the weekly BINGO
The local Royal Canadian Legion is mourning the death of Sharen Tedford, a longtime member and dedicated volunteer who served the branch for 12 years.
Tedford was best known for her role as the branch’s public relations officer, a position she held for many years. In that role, she spent countless hours maintaining the branch website and producing the monthly “What’s On” calendar, helping members and the wider community stay informed about events and activities.
She also brought creativity and colour to the Legion through the many posters she designed to promote programs, fundraisers and social gatherings. Her work played a key role in strengthening community engagement at the branch.
Tedford was a familiar and welcoming presence, especially among her friends at the weekly BINGO. Fellow members say her commitment, talent and warmth will be deeply missed.
The Legion has extended its sincere condolences to Tedford’s family and friends. She is remembered with gratitude and affection by all who knew her.
