Local MP comments on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest

Investigators are examining claims he shared trade documents with Jeffrey Epstein in 2010

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. BBC reports Thames Valley Police detained a man in his 60s without naming him, in keeping with U.K. law.

Local MP Michael Barrett weighed in by referencing his departure from royal duties as the beginning of his downfall.

Investigators are examining claims he shared trade documents with Jeffrey Epstein in 2010.

Barrett commented on those allegations.

The former Prince denies wrongdoing.
