Local drivers are being asked to plan alternate routes until the work is done
CN has reopened the Perth Street railway crossing after completing repairs earlier this week. The crossing is now fully operational, and traffic has resumed as normal.
However, repairs to the Ormond Street railway crossing were delayed due to heavy rainfall. CN crews were unable to complete the work as planned on Tuesday. The company now expects to finish repairs and reopen the Ormond Street crossing later today.
Local drivers are being asked to plan alternate routes until the work is done. CN has apologized for the delay and thanked residents for their patience during the temporary closure.
The company says weather conditions will continue to be monitored closely, and any changes to the repair schedule will be shared as soon as possible.
Anyone with questions or concerns can contact CN Public Inquiries at 1-888-888-5909. Updates may also be available through official town or CN communication channels.
