The OPP continues to investigate related criminal activity in the region
Two Brockville residents, a 36-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, have been charged with multiple firearms and Criminal Code offences following an OPP investigation that began in February 2026. On March 12, members of the Leeds County OPP Crime Unit, along with the Tactics and Rescue Unit, Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team, and Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a local residence.
Seized items included two firearms, ammunition, suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, a 3D printer with seven 3D-printed firearm receivers, a large quantity of cannabis, cash, a Red Devils Motorcycle Club vest, and various electronics.
Charges for both include careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession, and trafficking firearms. The male was additionally charged with pointing a firearm, assault, sexual assault, and sexual interference, while the female faces three counts of failing to comply with a release order. Both were remanded into custody following a bail hearing.
