Police say the accused was held for bail and remains in custody pending a future court appearance
Brockville police say a man has been arrested after a series of commercial break and enters across the city in December last month.
Investigators say several businesses and facilities were targeted, with tools and electronic equipment stolen. Police estimate the total value of the stolen property at several thousand dollars.
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested a 35-year-old man and laid charges linked to eight separate break and enter incidents. Police say the accused also faces 12 property-related charges in total.
The man was already under two probation orders at the time of the alleged offences. He has now been charged with several counts of breaching probation.
Police say the accused was held for bail and remains in custody pending a future court appearance.
Brockville police are asking anyone with information about the break and enters to contact the Brockville Police Service. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
