Police team up with mental health workers under new provincial grant

The program connects residents facing mental health, addictions and poverty-related challenges with voluntary supports through joint police and outreach worker visits

Brockville police and LLGAMH are renewing a community outreach program with provincial funding aimed at improving public safety.

Police Chief, Mark Noonan says this program will also be liaising with local shelters.

Noonan says the goal of this program is to help vulnerable residents in the best way possible.
