Alongside Solicitor General Michael Kerzner and local MPP Steve Clark, Premier Ford was in Brockville Monday afternoon to announce that the Ontario government has issued a Request for Qualifications to move forward with the new Brockville Correctional Complex and an expansion of the St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre.
The Premier addressed local residents concerned about more criminals being transported to Brockville.
He also said the federal government needs to keep it's promise to reform Canada's broken bail system.
