A political shakeup in Ottawa is drawing reaction after Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux crossed the floor to join the Liberal Party of Canada.
The move marks the third floor crossing since November and has sparked debate on Parliament Hill.
Local MP Michael Barrett weighed in on the decision, saying that Politicians fly under the banner they create.
Jeneroux is set to serve as special advisor on economic and security partnerships. In the role, he will focus on trade, global security and Canada’s economic strength.
