Brockville police are investigating multiple vehicle thefts after two 2024 Toyota vehicles were stolen from southwest city driveways on March 29. A 2024 Toyota Tundra and a 2024 Toyota Highlander were reported missing.
The Tundra was recovered in Kemptville by the Ontario Provincial Police. A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime. The Highlander remains missing. Police also reported a possible attempted theft of a 2025 Toyota Highlander in the same area and timeframe.
Authorities are urging residents to take extra precautions to protect their vehicles and property. Suggested measures include installing cameras, adding motion-activated lighting, and using devices like steering wheel lock bars. Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to contact the Brockville Police Service at 613-342-0127 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
