Organizers say every contribution makes a meaningful difference for local seniors
A Brockville-based organization is calling on residents to support local seniors through a new fundraising campaign.
Senior Support Services–LLG has launched its Sponsor a Senior campaign, running through the final two weeks of March. The initiative aims to raise funds for its Meals on Wheels program, which provides nutritious meals to seniors across the community.
Officials say the program not only delivers food, but also helps reduce isolation by offering regular contact and support. Donations of any size will help seniors maintain their health, independence and connection to the community.
Residents can contribute by visiting the office at 2235 Parkedale Ave., sending an e-transfer to fundraising@seniorsupportllg.ca, or calling 613-342-3693.
As an added incentive, all donors will be entered into an end-of-month draw featuring several prizes, including a $300 gas gift card, two gold package car detailings, and a pair of tickets to an Ottawa Senators' home game with dinner at the Brookstreet Restaurant.
