Police say no identifying information will be released to protect the victim
Three individuals under the age of 18 are facing charges following a child sexual abuse and exploitation investigation in Leeds County.
The Ontario Provincial Police say the case began Monday, February 23, 2026, when a 16-year-old victim reported the distribution of her intimate images.
Following the investigation, police charged one 17-year-old male and two 17-year-old females with:
Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Importing, distributing, or possessing such material for the purpose of distribution
The two female accused are also charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
All three were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville at a later date.
Police say no identifying information will be released to protect the victim.
