United Way Leeds & Grenville has reached the halfway mark of its $900,000 fundraising campaign, raising $450,000 thanks to community support. The non-profit works to address local needs including housing, food security, mental health, and youth programs.
Pamela Robertson, a UWLG Cabinet Member, said the milestone reflects the “kindness, generosity, and belief in one another” in the region, but added that more support is still needed.
