Officials thanked community members for their concern and support following the crash
A vehicle struck the entrance of the South Brockville ReStore operated by Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands Brockville ReStore on February 19, causing minor damage to the building. Fortunately, no staff, volunteers, or customers were injured in the incident.
The store was secured shortly after the crash, and staff are working with local police, insurance providers, and restoration crews to assess the damage and complete necessary repairs. The South location will remain temporarily closed while repairs are underway.
The organization expressed gratitude that everyone is safe and thanked community members for their concern, patience, and continued support during this unexpected situation.
The North Brockville ReStore location remains open and fully operational.
The ReStore sells donated furniture, appliances, and building materials, with proceeds supporting local housing initiatives through Habitat for Humanity. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
