Senior Support Services–Lanark, Leeds and Grenville is calling for volunteers to help deliver Frozen Meals on Wheels in the Prescott area.
The organization said it is looking for community members who can spare a few hours every other Tuesday morning to support local seniors.
Volunteers pick up cooler bags from the Brockville office, deliver frozen meals to clients in Prescott and then return the bags to the office. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
The program helps seniors stay nourished and maintain regular contact through friendly check-ins at the door.
Senior Support Services–LLG said the opportunity offers a meaningful way to give back and make a difference in the community.
