Augusta Fire Rescue is reminding residents to park safely and leave enough room for emergency vehicles to pass on Township roads.
The reminder comes after concerns were raised about vehicles parking along Mill Street in North Augusta, but officials say the request applies across Augusta Township.

While the Township has the authority to issue parking tickets for blocked roadways, officials say the focus is on education and cooperation.
Residents are encouraged to ask themselves whether a fire truck could get through before leaving their vehicle.
