Residents say they have been told the elevator will be fixed, but have not been given a timeline for repairs from SIREG Management Inc.
Following up on our story from Aug. 21st, residents at 2 Balmoral Place in Brockville continue to deal with a broken elevator, nearly four months after it stopped working.
One 78-year-old resident says she limits grocery shopping, makes fewer trips outside because of the stairs, and hasn't been doing the bulk of her laundry to avoid having to carry her baskets up and down the stairs, as well.
She says the lack of an elevator has made everyday life exhausting for her and other residents.
Residents say they have been told the elevator will be fixed, but have not been given a timeline for repairs from SIREG Management Inc.
