The Brockville Braves and the community as a whole are mourning the loss of longtime volunteer and hockey supporter Bob Darling. Known for his warm spirit and dedication, Darling was a familiar face at the rink—whether cheering from the bench, selling 50/50 tickets in the stands or spreading holiday joy as Santa Claus at Christmas time.
The Braves organization said they are deeply saddened by his passing and are sending condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Team members and fans remember him as someone who always showed up with a smile and a helping hand.
Darling’s love for junior hockey and the Braves made him a key part of the team’s family for many years. His presence, energy and kindness will be missed by everyone who knew him, but his legacy will continue to inspire the Braves community for years to come.
