This a part of a plan to improve accessibility
River Route Public Transit has added new stops to make travelling even easier for riders in Eastern Ontario.
The service now reaches more neighbourhoods in communities like Brockville, Maitland, Prescott, Johnstown, and Cardinal.
The additions are part of River Route’s push to improve access while keeping the same reliable schedule.
Whether residents are commuting to work, going to school, running errands, or heading to an appointment, the expanded route offers more convenience and flexibility.
Transit users can now hop on and off closer to home, thanks to the new stop locations.
Officials say the changes aim to better connect rural and urban areas without adding complexity to the current schedule.
The updated list of stops and times is available on the River Route website at riverroute.ca
Riders are encouraged to check online before travelling to take advantage of the new service points.
