Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and follow posted signage
Motorists traveling along Escott Rockport Road should prepare for delays starting June 2, 2025, as the road will be reduced to single-lane traffic at the Highway 401 overpass.
The temporary lane closure is required to accommodate bridge maintenance work and is expected to remain in place until November 28, 2025.
Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and follow posted signage. The Township recommends allowing extra travel time to account for possible delays during this period.
For more information, residents can contact Aaron Hatton, Manager of Roads & Fleet, at 613-659-2415, extension 234. Updates will be provided as the project progresses and traffic conditions change.
