Brockville is taking a closer look at downtown parking and asking residents, businesses and visitors to share their concerns.
A new Downtown Parking Study will examine parking supply, demand and usage in the downtown core and nearby residential streets. The study comes as the city considers future growth and increased residential density downtown.
J.L. Richards & Associates Limited is conducting the study for the city, which has set aside $100,000 through its 2026 Capital Budget.
The study will map public and private parking and look at ways to improve parking management, accessibility, convenience and wayfinding.
An online survey asks about issues including confusing parking rules, difficulty finding spaces, parking costs, accessible parking and future availability.
The survey is open until 11:59 p.m. Oct. 31.
