The budget includes a 3.99 per cent property tax increase
Brockville’s 2026 municipal budget was adopted this week, setting the stage for a year of upgrades across the city.
Brockville Mayor Matt Wren highlighted an important job scheduled for 2026.
He also spoke about another major positive change planned for the community.
One of the key projects funded in the budget is the expansion of the Brock Trail, which will benefit residents by improving recreation and connectivity.
The budget includes a 3.99 per cent property tax increase, which Wren called “fairly reasonable these days” compared with other municipalities in the region.
City officials say the budget positions Brockville for a busy year of improvements, upgrades, and community growth in 2026.
