The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce has named Kevin Beattie as the 2026 recipient of its Lifetime Business Achievement Award.
The award, sponsored by the 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation, recognizes leadership, community service, mentorship and economic impact. Recipients are selected by an independent committee.
Beattie was born in Brockville and returned in 2006 to join the family dealership, Beattie Dodge Jeep. He later became co-owner, continuing its role as a major local employer and community supporter.
Before returning home, he spent more than 20 years in ministry and youth leadership roles in Ottawa and across Canada.
Beattie has also coached sports, led the Brockville Blazers, and served on several local boards and organizations. The Chamber says he is widely respected for mentoring others and supporting families through community programs.
He will be honoured following the Chamber’s annual general meeting on March 26 at the Brockville Country Club.
