All proceeds raised support local initiatives through QueenCare and Lachlan’s Light Canada
The 2026 Brockville Butterfly Run is taking place this Saturday, Oct. 3, at the south entrance of the Brockville Railway Tunnel.
Participants can walk or run either a 1-kilometre or 5-kilometre route.
The annual event, co-chaired by Tara Kelly and Lesley Patry, supports families who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss and child loss.
Kelly explained how the idea first came together.
She highlighted a troubling statistic.
All proceeds raised support local initiatives through QueenCare and Lachlan’s Light Canada.
Founded in 2018 by Patry following the stillbirth of her daughter, Clementine, the Run has grown into a community movement, helping break the silence around pregnancy and infant loss and ensuring grieving families know they are not alone.
