He will be awarded at the 66th Awards of Excellence Gala on Sept. 18
The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce has named Jim Cooper the 2025 Business Person of the Year. Cooper, President of Canarm, will be honoured at the 66th Awards of Excellence Gala on Sept. 18 at the Brockville Country Club.
For over 40 years, Cooper has helped grow Canarm’s Canadian, U.S., and international operations while giving back to the Brockville community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he sourced and delivered PPE for frontline workers and locals.
Known as a mentor and leader, Cooper supports many charities, co-chairs the region’s largest golf fundraiser, and has served on several boards including the Brockville General Hospital and YMCA.
Tickets for the gala must be bought in advance at www.brockvillechamber.com. Other awards to be announced include Business of the Year and the Ben TeKamp Award.
