The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce has named Sheena Earl its 2026 Young Professional of the Year.
Earl will receive the award at the chamber’s 67th Awards of Excellence Gala on September 17 at the Brockville Country Club.
The chamber says Earl has spent more than 15 years supporting the community through municipal government roles, volunteer work and leadership.
She holds several post-secondary qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Public Administration through Western University’s local government program.
Earl also supports the municipal profession through education, mentorship and volunteer roles with the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario.
Her community work includes volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters Leeds Grenville, the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, Brockville and Area Community Living Association and Food for All Food Bank.
She also helped establish a free after-school dance program for elementary school children.
The gala will also recognize winners in several other award categories.
