Organizers say every vote could help the group secure funding for future community initiatives locally
The May Court Club of Brockville is asking residents to support its entry in the McDougall Insurance & Financial Community Contest, a provincial competition for non-profits and community groups.
The contest, now in its 13th year, will award three prizes worth a combined $10,000 to Ontario organizations. Voting is open until May 31, with winners scheduled to be announced June 1.
The Brockville club urged supporters to vote by watching its contest video and submitting a ballot through the online link shared on social media. The organization said the process takes about one minute to complete.
The club is also encouraging people to share the campaign online as it works to increase support before voting closes at the end of the month.
Organizers say every vote could help the group secure funding for future community initiatives locally.
