Abigail McMullen
Tomorrow (Nov. 15) is the 3rd Annual Ethan Tucker Memorial Volleyball Tournament and Fundraiser at Brockville Collegiate Institute.
Ethan was a grade 12 graduate of BCI, who passed away in 2022 after a long battle with Cancer. In concert with the Tucker family, organizers choose a local family going through the same type of battle to support.
Jessica Dixie, a teacher at BCI says this year's event is in support of three-year-old Abigail McMullen and her fight against Leukemia.
On top of a great day of volleyball, Dixie says they have a huge silent auction with close to $5,000 in items, thanks to the generosity of the community.
The tournament will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
