The Brockville Country Club will continue hosting their three-day curling open house, today and tomorrow, offering visitors a chance to try the sport with friendly instructors.
Organizer Jackie Empey says curling is a great way to get through the winter months.
Residents can explore the facility, learn the basics and discover leagues for all skill levels. The club also offers youth programs, and ice rentals for groups.
Empey adds that Learn to Curl lessons begin Oct. 19.
Remaining open house hours are today, 12-8 and tomorrow, 12-3.
