Following a community vigil that occurred last week
Local MP Michael Barrett paid tribute in the House of Commons to Wanda, Mackayla and Nikita Elliott, whose lives were lost in an act of intimate partner violence in Brockville on May 7.
His colleague, MPP Steve Clark reminded the community to continue supporting one another during this difficult time.
Barrett honoured the family’s memory, thanked first responders and Brockville Police Service, and recognized the work of Leeds and Grenville Interval House and Shelter Movers supporting survivors.
