Food Bank Manager says they already see around 470 kids per month
This Thursday (June 26) is the last day of school for kids all across Leeds & Grenville and that means that more kids will be visiting the Brockville & Area Food Bank over the summer months.
Food Bank Manager Amanda Petch tells us more.
She says they see approximately 470 school-aged kids every month.
Numbers continue to rise at the food bank, and prior to her leaving for a Food Banks Canada Conference in Montreal, Petch tells us what she saw last Tuesday alone.
She reiterates her gratitude for the continuous support from this community.
