Brockville residents can help make sure local families have food on the table this fall by donating during a three-day community food drive.
The Brockville Rotary Fall Harvest Sharing Food Drive runs Thursday, Oct. 8 through Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Real Canadian Superstore, collecting food and cash donations for the Brockville and Area Food Bank.
Food Bank Manager Amanda Petch talks about a few items they are currently seeking.
Cash donations can also go a long way, giving the food bank greater purchasing power to buy items that may not normally be donated.
Petch also talked about the demand the food bank is currently seeing.
104.9 myFM and 103.7 Giant FM will be live on location starting at 9 a.m. today as the community comes together for the annual drive.
Collection hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Brockville Rotary clubs and community partners continue to organize the annual event to support people in need.
