The drive runs Oct. 8 through 10 at the Real Canadian Superstore
A Brockville food drive is asking residents to help fill local food bank shelves during a three-day push this fall.
The Brockville Rotary Fall Harvest Sharing Food Drive will run Oct. 8 to 10, collecting food and cash donations for the Brockville and Area Food Bank.
Donations can be dropped off at the Real Canadian Superstore in Brockville. Collection hours are noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Brockville Rotary says its clubs and community partners organize the annual drive to support people who need help.
Organizers are also encouraging cash donations, saying money gives the food bank greater purchasing power and allows it to buy items that may not normally be donated.
The Rotary says its goal is to “pack the shelves to the top” and is asking residents to help make that happen.
Financial donations can also be made online through the Rotary’s Harvest Sharing campaign.
