45th Anniversary of the Marathon of Hope
Brockville is gearing up for the Terry Fox run this Sunday, (Sep. 14) ready to add funds to the ever-growing tally for cancer research.
Terry's siblings, including his brother Fred, are keeping his legacy alive, crossing the country, promoting the 45th Anniversary of the Marathon of Hope.
The tally for funds raised from the Marathon of Hope inches closer to the Billion dollar mark!
Terry's brother Fred says we're very close.
Terry's siblings continue to raise awareness about their brother's legacy. His brother Darrell just completed a cross-Canada cycling journey, raising over a Million dollars.
Fred Fox says their theme this year, Finish It, represents the eradication of cancer.
