Two longtime community leaders were recognized at the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce’s annual general meeting on Thursday, March 26. Kevin Beattie, vice-president of Beattie Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ltd., received the 2026 Lifetime Business Achievement Award, while Wendy Galloway was honoured with the Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award.
Beattie, a Brockville native, returned home in 2006 to join the family dealership and later became co-owner. He has spent more than 20 years in ministry and youth leadership and has contributed to local sports and community organizations, including coaching the Brockville Blazers.
Galloway has dedicated more than 50 years to volunteering, starting at age 12 with the YMCA. She has supported programs for children with developmental disabilities, local arts events, minor hockey, and community fundraising initiatives across Leeds and Grenville.
