Brockville’s Annual Household Hazardous and Special Waste Day is set for Saturday, Aug. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

With more, here’s the City’s communications coordinator, Natalie Finucan.

Common household hazardous waste items include motor oil, household cleaners, mercury-containing products, batteries, light bulbs and more.

Automotive and damaged lithium-ion batteries are not accepted and need to be disposed of elsewhere.

Finucan said the event is for Brockville residents only.

Residents are encouraged to attend, as this is the only household hazardous and special waste day scheduled in Brockville for 2026.
