Police say the accused’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim
The Lanark County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Brockville resident with multiple sexual offences involving a child.
Police say the investigation began April 2, 2026, into historical allegations dating back to 2019, when the accused was living in Perth. The man was arrested April 13.
A 35-year-old Brockville man faces several charges, including voyeurism, invitation to sexual touching under 16, possession and distribution-related offences involving child sexual abuse material, as well as assault and assault with a weapon.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing and was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 17.
