Drugs, fake guns and cash seized
Two people were arrested after Brockville police found drugs, replica firearms and cash during a traffic stop on May 12.
Around 2:30 a.m., officers pulled over a vehicle on Stewart Boulevard. The 31-year-old female driver and 39-year-old male passenger were both identified.
Police saw open alcohol in the vehicle, which led to a full search.
Officers then found suspected meth, cocaine, crack cocaine, three pellet pistols, more than $700 in cash and digital scales.
Both individuals were arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They were held in custody for a bail hearing.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be considered.
