Only a call away if help is needed
Brockville Police Chief Mark Noonan is reflecting on another busy year for the police service as they close in on around 18,000 calls for service in 2025.
Thanks to the Ontario government's $2 million-dollar funding commitment for mental health, youth outreach and crisis response in our communities, Noonan says the service now has two crisis response teams thanks to local partners.
Noonan says an online reporting system is coming in 2026.
He reminds the community that they're only a call away.
