As summer begins to wind down, seasonal workers in Brockville are preparing for changes in hours and employment.
Kira Merritt, marketing and communications coordinator with the Employment and Education Centre, says seasonal work is common in several industries locally.
She says seasonal jobs can lead to more long term pathways.
She says having a plan in place is vital as seasonal employees face reduced hours or the end of their contracts.
Merritt also offered advice for local workers looking for their next opportunity.
