The Ontario 55+ Summer Games will celebrate living, competition and community spirit while showcasing Brockville and Thousand Islands region
Brockville is looking for volunteers to help organize the 2027 Ontario 55+ Summer Games.
The Games will take place Aug. 17 to 19, 2027, with more than 1,000 athletes, coaches and spectators expected to visit the city.
Brockville Tourism is recruiting volunteer chairs for the Games Organizing Committee, with applications due Sept. 16.
Available positions include chairs for games organization, administration and IT, finance, food services, accommodations, registration, marketing and communications, medical services, security, special events, sponsorship, transportation, volunteers and accessibility.
Organizers say volunteers will work with partners, committee members and volunteers to help plan the event.
